Our D&C SA Division requires a hands-on person to assist the Erection Supervisor with the coordination of site crew. Essential components of this role include the marking out and placement of footing bolts on site and having the ability to read and interpret structural steel drawings, mark plans and architectural drawings.

To be successful in this role you will have at least 5 years experience as a Foreman, be well organised and self driven, with a demonstrated ability to lead by example and motivate a small team. You must have experience in the construction of new structures and extensions on existing structures. Applicants who hold a trade certificate will be considered favourably.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager to provide advice to our Mining and Construction Divisions throughout Australia, in line with our company's strategic goals and business growth.

This newly created full-time position is based at our head office at Kingsford, near Gawler. Reporting to the Construction Director your primary responsibility will be to implement best practice in safety on a national basis and to provide and foster a safety culture, with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will have formal HSE qualifications or the equivalent, and a minimum five years experience and extensive skills in delivering such services to mining/construction sectors.

This role involves working closely with the HSQE Manager to ensure a coordinated approach throughout the Ahrens Group. We are seeking the services of a suitably qualified Site Foreman/Safety Officer with Mining Infrastructure experience. This new role involves providing support to the Site Supervisor with regard to Occupational Health and Safety.

You will be responsible for monitoring the safety standards and regulations of the Mine Site and will help coordinate employees and sub-contractors on site. The role will also involve conducting site inductions and safety audits. Essential criteria for this role include having a trade background, current Senior First Aid Certificate, White Card and unrestricted Drivers Licence.

As well as a sound knowledge of the building industry, you will have solid construction experience in mining infrastructure, managing sub-contractors, multi-discipline trades and liaising with clients. The position involves the delivery of oversize loads to our farming and commercial clients across NSW. Unrestricted HC and forklift licences are essential for this role.
